"HOLIDAY MAGIC" & "MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT"
(WINTER PRESENTATION FOR FAMILIES)
These holiday performances are presented in the spirit of the holiday season, providing one more opportunity for the students of ALL LEVELS to perform on stage. Classes present short combinations they have learned in class with their teachers for their families.
"HOLIDAY MAGIC" All Pre-School & Primary Classes (excluding Parent & Tot Class)
"MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT" All Junior, Intermediate, & Senior Classes
Date: Sunday, December 12th 2011
Location: Franco Manitobain Theatre
Tickets: $5 each, limit of 4 per family (will be available at the studio in November)
Costuming: The performers will wear their set class attire for this performance. Students may be asked to purchase accessories by their teacher to add pizzazz on stage, however the intention of this show is to keep costs to families during the holidays at a minimal.
ANNUAL GALA RECITAL
(OUR MAIN PERFORMANCE EVENT)
MAGIC 'N MOTION STUDIO provides students with an exciting performance experience through its June recital. The annual staple of the dance school, the recital, conjures images of childhood. Its a rite of passage for thousands of youngsters, a chance to shine in front of family and friends that they anticipate with nervous excitement. The recital offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present to their families and friends the results of the years hard work, dedication and progress.
Who: ALL Classes & Troupe Group routines (excluding Parent & Tot & compulsory baton class)
Date: June 3 & 4, 2011 (Shows & stage rehearsals)
Location: Manitoba Theatre Center (Mainstage)
Tickets: $15 each (will be available at the studio May)
Costuming: Each performer in recital will require the purchase or rental of a costume for each routine. A $30 Costume deposit / rental fee for each class is due NOVEMBER 1st.
Costume Rental Program:
It is our goal to eventually have sufficient costume stock to provide rental costumes to all of our Junior / Intermediate / Senior classes, save on the costuming costs for these performers. We are about 70% there, so most of these classes will be rental costumes! (Hip hop costumes are not rentals)
Costume Purchases:
Classes not in our costume rental program will require the purchase of a costume. Estimated purchase costume fees are (Pre-school: up to $60, Primary: up to $65, Junior-Senior: up to $80)
